Description:
This map is a converted Single Player map HK4.
Sir Paul has made a nice job of it as well, new features have been added and the original level has been altered to suit MP game play.

The whole of the map has been re-textured, street lights added and some nice additions making the atmosphere good to play in. There are really two maps in one here, with access to the other section via an underground garage or a walkway through the market area.

The map supports Dm Tdm CTF Elim and Infi game types and will host 30 players max for DM and team games 15 players per team.

Now if you could make a night version and A_Guy or someone else could provide us with some botroutes, we'd be adding this map to our weekend coop LAN party mapcycle, and how about a demo gametype version while you're at it?!

lemme just add that the socalled "fastsky cmd" makes the map look funny if only the skybox but not the lighting is changed and "demo" means demolition...

oh, and one more thing @ ACE01uk:

Im hoping for a v2 version with better performance and layout, keep it up paul.

I agree with Chris, the design is horrible. I cannot see how this is balanced. If you get a boost, you can get to the most imba camping places, controlling big parts of the map.

I actually played hk4 on goldrush 2 weeks ago and it was a lot of fun because it was so open and small, so I was dissapointed with this map.

its a good effort. like they have said before maybe a ver 2 ?
and lb is right the original hk4 has been added to goldrush 3.0 via a AEF system.

just a quick explanation about my last comment.
this is a good map. but sometimes adding things is not always a good idea. in other words bigger isnt always better.
we are spoilt as we have been testing the origonal hk4. yep it is small but that map is fun and very fast. like another that has been added to goldrush 3.0 shop 8

if you are looking for a map to do. there is one i would love to see. it would be small fast and so much fun. and that is just the roof section of mp_shop with some improvements.
