Cod Carentan - File Description  


Description:
A well made cod style map. It has a nice feel to it as it is kind of open yet it has a lot of cover at the same time.
There are very little errors in the map although there are a couple of rouge textures but nothing that would notice without really looking.
The map itself has a good fps and plays really well. All in all this is a very nice map and is well worth a look.

Installation
------------
The .pk3 file should be extracted to the user's SoF2 /base/ directory.

To Play
----------------------------------------------------------
Start an SoF2 Multiplayer Game.
Select "COD Carentan" from the multiplayer server list.
*or pull down the console (~) and type: map mp_cod_carentan

Uninstallation
----------------------------------------------------------------
Delete the mp_cod_carentan.pk3 file from your SoF2/base/ directory.

Very well done!

Any chance of including DEM and maybe adding a bit to some of the rooms as some are a bit barren. This map will be a LAN hit imo Two Thumbs Up!

Wow, i thought of doing this a while back...

Looks and feels like the original....

Would have been cool to use the cod2 carentan textures aswell like what was done with css_italy.

Release the source maybe, this could be an awesome map

For a second map it is very good. You have the basics mastered but now need to work on things like making them look realistic, Thins like lighting sources and so on. These add a sense of realism the will improve the look of your work no end.

I have got to say that this is totaly AWSOME for just being your second map. I can see the work that it took for you to build this map... Being that I am a new map builder myself for SoF2. I have played this map myself in CoD and I must "say"... your layout is right on tartget. Great Job Crazy Rush keep up the Great work bro.
