Dt NY - File Description  


Description:
An average siized map supporting all but the demolition gametype. A few bugs with textures not aligned preoperly but nothing to fuss about. Users with lower end gfx cards will notice FPS drops in certain places, Overall nice map give it a try and see what you think. smile.

Description : Set in the back alleyway's of NY. Not what you would expect to be your holiday location.
People are living in poverty and there have been clashes between gangs resulting in gunfire
and innocent victims being injured just because of the lack of money. This has resulted
in a black market dealing mainly with weapons and drugs. As a last resort, specially trained
units have been sent to this part of town to keep things under control. This is where you fall
into this operation.
A medium / big sized map with access to in and outdoors.

Raven: Hey, wondering what the build time was? Me too. :P This map was done mainly in my spare time,
over a long time. Although, there were big breaks in which I didn't even touch this map but at last,
it has arrived! Enjoy.

well theres nothing more to say than : good map, but i think you should have done a final check to it

pro:
evrythings pretty detailed e.g buildings
low r_speeds which result in good fps

contra:
there are 2 ( or 3 ? i dont remember exaclty) passages which are completetly unlit , well i dont know if it was your purpose or you simply missed the lighting out there..
Also there are some spots behind buildings which are completely unlit which let those walls look really ugly..

But i really have to say: good map, u have my respect smile Shame that new maps dont have any chance in leagues /adm delete jor1 D;

cheers for the comments, and yeah.. i know which 2 areas you are talking about that are unlit (i left it like that purposefully). i kinda like maps with a dark atmosphere stick out tongue
