Quote:An improved version of EOSC v1.6, this one enhances vision in dark areas better and also has an M203 sight.
Basically, you have to aim at your target depending by how far you are from it. Say you're 20 metres from a prick hiding behind a few boxes spraying his MP5 at you. Set the boxes to about 21 m (if you aim it at 20 it'll just hit the front of the boxes). Launch and watch his head pop.
Of course this is only useful at all if you're good at judging distances (very good) or know the map dimensions (eg mp_barn is 60 'metres' across, this will be useful to remember).
With no actual guide or means to measure distance when I made this, I had to use an extended pace as an in-game 'metre'. This is about the distance of holding down your forward or backpedal key for 3/4 of a second...a little longer than a tap.
In any case, it's an interesting addition. You might find yourself using the m203 more. I hope that this actually encourages people to actually AIM with the m203 instead of just lobbing it senslessly or using it as a 'panik button'.

Extract the eosc2.pk3 file from the .zip archive into your SoF2 base/mp folder. This crosshair replaces the 3rd default crosshair. You might need to rename the .png in the .pk3 if you don't want it to replace the 3rd crosshair. To use in-game, select the crosshair, then type [ cg_crosshairsize 512 ] in the console.
The creator of this file accepts no responsiblity for any damage, loss, injury and/or mental damage resulting from the use or misuse of this file and blah blah blah.
Then again, I can just say 'told ya'.
And HOW THE FRIGGIN' HELL can this screw up your PC anyways???
As a side note for people who play in Clanbase wars, the use of custom crosshairs isn't allowed. Your clan could get a forfit loss if you use this in a CB war.

i gave it a 10 also
even so i didn't download it
i dont use m203
i think its gay
i only use :frag grenades , AK74 or MP5 and shotgun
is there anything that can block out custom crosshairs in match servers? pure servers will only block out custom models, player skins and shaders (and skins/hud images, unless ya preload em first) but doesnt block custom crosshairs and scopes
theres a few dodgy scopes here like ones that makes dark spots appear in dark red and thermal scopes etc. so a program or mod that can block these scopes and crosshairs out would be handy to have

Pretty nicely done, better than i could do. Sort of a unique quality to it. May be just me but it might stuck out a little better if you used florecent colors for the distance marks, although good as is. 9/10
