Functional Maps (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This is a script that unlocks test maps for MP in SoF Payback. This is the developers first version of the script and promises more work will be done on it after the holidays.
This is well worth a look.
Follow the install instructions as described in the readme.
The developer takes no credit for the maps. However making them visible and playable is all his own work.

Use a utility like Winzip, Winrar, 7-zip, PakScape, etc to unzip this file to your solider of fortune directory, in my case "C:\SOFPB" so that the directory "Maps" falls under the root of the SOF3 directory, looking like this "C:\SOFPB\Maps\". The path to the modified .def file should look like this "C:\SOFPB\Maps\Multiplayer\Maps.def"

If you follow this correctly, you should be able to select and host more maps than before in DM, TDM, ELM, TELM modes. The "new" maps I have decided against using in CTF because there are no flag waypoints. I may or may not decide to change this later. I have not included them in DEM because there is no explosive in the world, simply making it into a TDM match.
