Description:
Here's a very nice map! Based on the old tv-serie "The Prisoner". It's very detailed and supports all gametypes. The only point is that this map is 18 mb big stick out tongue But it is really worth to download.

I love "The Prisoner" TV serie from the '60s, I love to play SOF2. I decided to join the two things together.
The Portmeirion/Village scenario is a perfect background for a SOF2 map. I've done my best but you got to have a really performant PC and connection to play it smoothly. Quality has a price!
Please visit the forecoming site dedicated to support and improvement of this project.
I'm planning upgradings and new versions of this map, a discussion forum, "the making of", sugegstions techinques etc. Ideas and contributions will be well accepted :)

- About "Portmeirion, Wales"

Clough Williams-Ellis (1883 -1978) built Portmeirion from 1925 to 1975 on his own private peninsula on the coast of Snowdonia in Wales. He wanted to show that 'the development of a naturally beautiful site need not lead to its defilement'. His lifelong concern was with Architecture, Landscape Design, the protection of Rural Wales and Conservation generally, and he strove at Portmeirion to give his ideas physical expression. He fought for Beauty - "that strange necessity". Portmeirion is owned by a Registered Charity called The Second Portmeirion Foundation. All the cottages in the village are let as part of the Portmeirion Hotel and the village also has several shops and restaurants and is surrounded by the Gwyllt sub-tropical gardens and woodlands and miles of sandy beaches. Portmeirion is open all year round for both staying guests and day visitors alike. I hope we may have the pleasure of welcoming you.
