WELCOME!


Thank you for downloading the Map pack for Raven Software's Soldier of Fortune!

This map pack contains 5 new maps which are included in the Soldier of Fortune Platinum edition, and
will allow you to play on servers running these maps.

INSTALL:

***This Map Pack will only work with Retail Soldier of Fortune versions patched to 1.06 or higher,
and Soldier of Fortune Gold.***

The 1.07f patch can be found here: http://www.3ddownloads.com/?file_id=149506

To install these maps, unzip the mappack.pak file into the 'Base' folder in your installed directory
of Soldier of Fortune. You will now see the new maps present in your map lists.

The names of the new maps are as follows:

airportdm
factorydm
irqdesertdm
labdm
plantdm


We hope you enjoy the new maps!

Posts: 1439 		Huh? Most bigger gameservers like Jolt, BW, etc use these maps on their DM-servers... The problem might be that some players seem to live on Mars and never heard of sites as soffiles, sofcenter, bc, sofland, etc etc... maybe even ravensoft.com!

So there still may be plenty of players around there that don't have these maps or maybe even try to connect to the internet using SoF 1.03 or 1.06!

Give it time... some things take awhile eek!

Posts: 		Dude, everybody uses at least the airport map. This is a must have pack. You need these especially if you plan on running a server yourself.
