  Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix Multiplayer

Activision took all doubts about SoF2 Multiplayer away with the following press release:

SANTA MONICA, CA – November 19, 2001 – In addition to a massive single player campaign and the revolutionary random mission generator, Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and Raven Software’s Soldier of Fortune® II: Double Helix for the PC will now ship with Free For All and Team Deathmatch multiplayer modes. In Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix players assume the role of John Mullins, a military consultant working for a covert organization known only as the shop. As Mullins, players will travel arround the globe to stop a criminal conspiracy from terrorizing the world with a weapon of mass destruction. Soldier of Fortune is rated MATURE (17 and above) for animated blood and violence by the ESRB. The sequel, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix has not yet been rated.

Multiplayer mode in Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix features over 100 unique model/skin combinations so players can pick the perfect avatar, and with 12 - 14 in-view weapons the action is guaranteed to be fast and furious. Additionally, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix’s multiplayer code is designed to be easily modified by the mod community.

Only one day after, the good news about multiplayer in SoF2 isn't even cold yet, we get 8 KICKASS SoF2 Multiplayer Screenshots that make every decent gamer grab his shotghun, shoot in the air and scream YAHOOOOOO!!!
